Sales

Position: Clinical Education Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Support ESTECH Products


    • Support Sales Force in designated sales region and territory in the use of the RAP cannulae, Minimal Access procedures, Beating Heart Surgery, Atrial Fibrillation Surgery and Left Ventricular Restoration Surgery.
    • Expertly discuss cardiac surgery procedures and  the use of Estech products over the entire product line with all  CVOR clinical staff including CV Surgeons.
    • Perform educational in-services and be present during  cardiac surgical procedures where Estech products are highlighted.
    • Follow up with active accounts to drive procedural adoption and increase Estech product usage
    • Record and manage clinical registry forms where applicable
    • Report any product performance issues per applicable SOP

  • Development Activities and Limited Market Release support
      • Support clinical and regulatory aspects of product development.
      • Responsible to working with marketing to develop product launch plans and clinical protocols
      • Per LMR SOP provide early feedback on new products from the clinical/Surgeon perspective (Includes meeting with key surgeons to discuss concepts and prototype designs)
      •  Write up early clinical experiences and present at Post Release Design Review

    • Regional Training 

      • Work with region and territory managers and other sales field personal within a designated sales region and territory to insure they are fully trained on all aspects of Operating Room protocol and product performance and clinical usage
      • Develop training modules that will enhance existing customer and sales team  training
      • Participate in sales training meetings as needed.
    • Adherence to ESTECH Quality Policies and Procedures including expense reporting

    Experience Requirements:

      • Clinical/ Healthcare College Degree
      • Clinical and Cardiovascular Operating Room experience
      • Clear understanding of cardiothoracic anatomy and physiology, the procedures and practices of cardiac surgery and the management of the patient in this arena.
      • The CLINICAL EDUCATION SPECIALIST will be able to leverage their cardiac surgeon and hospital decision maker relationships to drive sales region and territory business and revenue.
      • Knowledge, exposure and relationships with cardiac surgical teams and relevant surgical procedures such as minimally invasive beating heart coronary artery bypass and valve surgery, an understanding of treatment of arrhythmias, particularly atrial fibrillation is important.
      • The successful candidate will be a customer focused, service and performance driven individual.

          Position: Regional Sales Manager

          Responsibilities:

          • Adherence to ESTECH Quality Policy and Procedures.
          • Prompt completion of Customer Experience Reports
          • Achievement of Sales Forecast
          • Development and regional management of KOL’s and Reference/Training Centers
          • Prompt completion of regional sales reports, forecasts, target lists, CRM updates etc…
          • Working with the Vice President and reporting to the Director of Sales Area the Regional Manager (RM) will manage an existing sales region comprised of five to seven direct sales professionals: TMs, and CESs.
          • Strong region team and tactical sales and marketing background and a proven track record in achieving sales objectives and growing sales in an emerging market environment from $4-12M within a three to five year timeframe.
          • Knowledge, exposure and relationships with cardiac surgical teams and relevant surgical procedures such as minimally invasive beating heart coronary artery bypass and valve surgery, an understanding of treatment of arrhythmias, particularly atrial fibrillation is essential.

          Regional Sales Manager Experience Requirements:

            • BS in business or life sciences required.
            • Previous experience of 4-10 years in sales and sales management of a direct sales team at the region level. Experience in the cardiac surgery medical device industry is a plus.
            • Excellent oral, written communications, and presentation skills with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management within the client decision making process including hospital executive level stakeholders
            • Excellent fact based solution oriented conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
            • Previous experience in successful regional sales execution against large competitors and gaining, retaining, and expanding market share in an emerging therapy and complex technological environment.
            • Background in both large and small company medical device organizations and ability to work within a continually developing culture in an early stage company.
            • Must have technical competency to utilize sophisticated technology and absorb large amounts of medical and clinical knowledge and information.

            Position: Administrative Assistant / Reception

            Summary:

            An Administrative Assistant to provide the first point of contact for the Company. This position entails detailed knowledge of company procedures and practices. This position requires the ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks and coordinate company needs. This position will be responsible for diverse and complex administrative duties for ESTECH’s business operations including, but not limited to the following areas:

            • Adherence to ESTECH Quality Policy and Procedures
            • Provides the first point of contact and customer support to visitors and telephone callers, dealing with inquiries courteously and efficiently.
            • Able to redirect calls accurately and in professional manner.
            • Maintains an efficient and effective reception area.
            • Assists with the collection, opening and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
            • Provides routine administrative support to Human Resources, Finance, Engineering, Document Control, Sales, Marketing and Operations.  Examples of work performed include photocopying, filing, data entry.
            • Assist Facilities as needed
            • Maintains kitchen areas along with general housekeeping and stocking of facility.
            • Maintain office supplies and order when necessary
            • Ability to complete office errands as necessary.
            • Uses independent judgment in completing activities and operates under general supervision.

            With supervisor input, this person is required to proactively plan and prioritize workload.  They are also required to solve a range of problems and partner with staff to improve efficiency of administrative processes.

            Position: Customer Service/Sales Administration Coordinator


            Job Description:

            Independently responsible for diverse and complex Customer Service and Sales Administration duties of ESTECH’s business operations including, but not limited to the following areas.
            This position requires a thorough knowledge of company operations, policies and procedures, manages multiple simultaneous tasks and coordinates company needs.  The successful candidate will use appropriate software tools to create and maintain presentations, documents and spreadsheets.  With supervisor input, this person is required to proactively plan and prioritize workload.  They are also required to solve a range of problems and partner with staff to improve efficiency of administrative processes.

            Responsibilities

            • Adhere to ESTECH Quality Policy and Procedures.
            • Field all incoming ESTECH calls with regard to products, orders & services
            • Provide Customer Support for all order related inquiries
            • Generate & monitor all quotes for US sales regions
            • Review incoming orders for pricing accuracy, payment terms and shipping terms, generate sales orders & manage through to shipment.
            • Maintain customer files, contracts & pricing agreements. Monitor contract performance and order requirements, report to Senior Staff on a quarterly basis.
            • Backlog Management
            • Process & Monitor Return Material Authorizations (RMA) to include issuing RMA paperwork and follow up to ensure product is returned.
            • Complete Customer Experience Reports from Field Personnel & Customers (CER).  Assure all customer information is obtained
            • Initiate & Manage Equipment Loan Agreements (ELA). To include following up with Customers and Territory Managers post shipment, Managing Expiration Dates.  Making arrangements to retrieve equipment, extend agreement, or invoice for equipment,

            Job Description

            The Junior Accountant’s role is a dynamic one at ESTECH and is designed to maximize the growth and learning of the employee.  The ideal candidate will be expected to grow in to a Staff Accountant and beyond and thus must be motivated and driven to succeed.
            This is an entry level position that reports to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for providing accounting and analytical support:

            • Travel & Entertainment expense processing & control
            • Ad hoc analysis projects involving inventory, operations, and cost control

            Job Qualifications

            Job Description

            The Staff Accountant’s role is a dynamic one at ESTECH and is designed to maximize the growth and learning of the employee.  The ideal candidate will be motivated and driven to succeed.
            This position will report to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for providing accounting and analytical support:

            • Month end close, including accrual accounting
            • Inventory accounting, including variance analysis
            • Accounts payable, including assisting with vendor relations
            • Travel & Entertainment expense processing & control
            • Ad hoc analysis projects involving inventory, operations, cost control, sales forecasting & analysis, and last, but not least, financial planning & analysis (FP&A)

            Job responsibilities will rotate with the other Staff Accountant on staff to ensure both deep and wide understanding of the accounting function.

            Position: Valve Product Manager

            Department: Marketing
            Reports To:  Director of Marketing

            Responsibilities

            Manage all marketing activities for assigned product line/application. Identify potential product enhancements, new product opportunities, prioritize development, and create and implement marketing strategies for assigned product line/application. Create and implement product launch plans in coordination with R&D, sales and operations. Collect and analyze information on competitive product offerings, including features, price, and parameters.

            Accountabilities:

            Insuring field force awareness of concise messaging regarding assigned product line. Evaluation of market share as well as impacting market share of assigned product line. Hitting established timeline for launch of new product and promotional programs.

            Financial Responsibility:

            Experience in establishing and managing to a budget.

            Interactions:

            Study customer requirements for existing and potential new products. Meet with physicians, clinicians, sales force, and R & D staff as needed to collect needed information. Work with regulatory and document control to maintain procedural requirement as an ISO 9001 manufacturer. Work with marketing communications and sales force to implement consistent messaging through collateral materials and training.

            Decision Making:

            Ability to make clear business decisions when given supporting data. Make financially responsible decisions in the best interest of the company.

            Supervision:

            No direct management experience is required.
            Job Requirements:

            Education & Experience:

            Minimum of a Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business Administration with concentration in marketing or equivalent work experience. At least 3+ years experience as a product manager, preferably for a medical device company. Preferable experience in developing tactical/strategic business plans for cardiac surgery in both the domestic as well as international marketplaces. Requires prior experience with developing promotional collateral such as sales promotions brochures and related items. Previous experience developing promotional programs for a sales organization is essential. Ablation and cardiovascular surgical instrument backgrounds are a plus.

            Knowledge / Skills:

            Requires excellent organizational and communication skills, plus extensive knowledge of medical and surgical device industry. Specific skills in market analysis, market planning and market communications. Ability to professionally represent the company to external sources. Must be proficient in MS office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel. Additional software applications experience is a plus.

             


             

            Position: Principal Engineer/ Engineering Project Manager

            Department: Engineering
            Reports To: Vice President, R&D

            As Principal Engineer/ Engineering Project Manager you will play an integral part in a highly innovative cardiac surgery design team, managing and executing the development process on new and 2nd generation design projects, which are essential to the company’s continued growth and success. This position and company offers the unique opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of the development cycle, as well as cross-functional leadership in a close, small company environment.

            Responsibilities:

              • Project lead and manager of R&D projects and multi-disciplinary teams
              • Design and development of new cardiac surgical devices from concept through commercialization in accordance with corporate procedures
              • Project planning and management. Creates product development schedules and delivers the products on schedule and within budget
              • Interact with cardiac surgeons and executive management team to develop design inputs and insure that products will exceed customer requirements and business objectives
              • Lead brainstorming sessions, creative feasibility prototyping, and concept development
              • Generate Solidmodels and CAD drawings
              • Construct product structure/BOMs and complete documentation of design activities per corporate procedures
              • Component Sourcing and Contract Manufacturer management during development phase
              • Assist in the development of manufacturing and quality plans in conjunction with QA/Operations
              • Create Hazards Analysis and FMEA to insure patient safety
              • Develop design requirements. Design and execute validation plans including bench and animal studies, biocompatibility, sterilization, and packaging

            Skills:

              • Proficiency in Solidworks/AutoCAD/MS Project
              • Strong communication and technical writing skills
              • Excellent attention to detail, efficient, well organized work habits required for multi-tasking
              • Energetic, self starter, with strong initiative, sense of ownership, and work ethic

            Experience:

              • B.S. Mechanical Engineering or related field (M.S. preferred)
              • 3-10 years medical device engineering experience with familiarity in all above responsibilities
              • Working knowledge of FDA QSR, IS0 13485 and MDD regulations
              • Experience with minimally invasive surgical devices, cardiac surgical devices, catheter technology preferred
